We are GParc
A company with a soul that sees tourism in Bages, in
general, and the concept of Unesco World Geopark of Central Catalonia, in
particular, an opportunity for growth.
We want to grow but we want to do it in line with the
precepts implicit in "our" Geopark, based on the development of
sustainable strategies that bring together both the resources and the people
who inhabit the territory.
We know that the concept of geotourism reaches both the
visiting and the local public through Geopark products and, through ours, we
want to be participants.
- GParc ensures that product creation tasks are carried out
by people who live, work and get to know the area of the Unesco World Geopark
in Central Catalonia.
- GParc manufactures its products under the guidelines
"Made in a free world".
- GParc uses packaging made from recycled materials or that
can be recycled or reused or is biodegradable.
- GParc believes in the protection of our heritage and
traditional culture; as well as that of the flora and fauna that surrounds us,
therefore, these will be the main sources of inspiration for our designs.
- GParc believes in the importance of solidarity in an
increasingly individualistic society. It is for all this that 3% of our profit
will go to the association Bages Impuls, a non-profit organization that
promotes sustainable tourism in Bages creating synergies between all companies,
tourist or not, in the territory.
GParc, with all this, wants to promote local consumption and
the procurement of local products and services.
